Picspam: Pleasantview I

I have started maxis match over again and revamped my downloads folder. I also made my own default skintone with leh's wonderful skinset as a base with parts of the evanescent skinset faces.

Warning, pictures are very random ;)

I started with the families from the bin, as always.






Grilled cheese for the guests, which are...


...Brandi Broke and Darren Dreamer. They received a quick makeover, too.


This turned quickly into a house party.




Jennifer's attempts to become a member of Pleasantview's high society fail horribly.


*sniff* They grow up so fast! Little Lucy's pocket money is now all being wasted on dye.


Coral Oldie now being more grandma-ish.


Herb spends his days painting, their only source of income.


Brandi's most favorite part of visiting neighbors is sleeping in their beds. Her kids wear her out.


"Hands off the plates, young man! They've been a wedding gift!"


Don is shocked "You again! I know you! Who will you make me marry this time?"
I indeed made him marry a different woman each time I started Pleasantview. Haven't decided for this time =).


Although the redecoration of Don's house was worth picturing it, I didn't do it... instead I made him hit on Nina again.


I love Nina! She's beautiful in her very own way...


... and she's passionate, not a slut (like Don).


Look who stopped by!


The two have a very special relationship.


I didn't play the Caliente sisters very long, just redecorated their house. Nina likes the new kitchen!


It's red. I like red. My own kitchen will also be red.


I separated the cooking an the dining area. Not a very good shot (the only one I have), but I hope you get the idea.


Nina's best friend is her perfect opposite. Brandi loves her boys and hopes the child her husband left her is a girl.
I also tore down their house and it was enough money to build a new one. Still poorly decorated, because of the money.


I was honestly shocked when she really got a girl, but that's the fixed Pleasantview that I play. The little thing was named after ger grandmother Betty.


Dustin is "showing Angela around the house".


And he is also an nice brother for the little Betty.





Brandi tries luring Beau away from the books.


At least she can get him outside from time to time.

The Pleasant's house is the only one I have proper pictures of.


I can't get to the landscaping part, I'm so bad at it.


Lillith's room. She has a very vivid interest in sports.


Angela's room is very pink and girly.








Master bedroom. Ironically this is the same wallpaper Mary-Sue's parents have in their house.

I love Daniel! He becomes an elder too soon for my taste.


Mary-Sue has a thing for junk food.







Dustin enjoyes the plasma TV at his girlfriend's home. Needless to say that Daniel is not very happy with this.


I'm nice to my sims, I give Daniel and Mary-Sue probably the happiest time they had together.


And despite those "happy" times, Lillith still doesn't get along with her family.


Kaylynn has a problem with Angela who accuses her of hitting on her father.


Lillith's policy "Nobody makes my sister cry, but me!"


Adult Angela is busy with being pretty.


I modified the neighborhood by replacing The Goth kids with genetically correct offspring. Kaylynn clone Cassandra is  almost as annoying as Goopy clone Alexander, wo is adorable and cute now!


And Cassandra got Bella's eyes. She's now responsible of the whole family, while her father is busy flirting with young girls.


I made default replacements for many kinds of skins, including plantsim, alien and witch.

I hope you don't mind me commenting so late on this! I love the defaults you have--it makes all of the sims so lovely. I enjoyed seeing all the families and their makeovers; you did a great job. :)

Those skins look wonderful! There are so many meh MM skins, but these look really nice. You've got so much great cc all over the place in these makeovers!

I am too spoiled by the pretty skinblends available to play "real" maxis match, so I "cheated" this way ^^

Oh wow! The makeovers are so pretty! :)

I like you default blends, I never know which skins to use. I find maxis match too bland and realistic too shiny! >_<

I keep switching between the two, only thing that doesn't change are the eyes.
